Charities

St Stephen’s supports three local charities and one in China through fundraising, publicity, and active involvement.

Bethune House is a Women's Refuge for Foreign Domestic Helpers in Hong Kong. It's a place where women who have been abused or ill-treated by their employers can find safety and support. Some have been physically abused, others have been underpaid or forced to work illegally. Each year there is an opportunity to visit the House and see their work, and there are also opportunities for volunteers to work there.
